First Year Fellows Endoscopy Course - South Region
Price and CME
Course Directors: Coleen M. Schmitt, MD, MHS, FASGE, and Field F. Willingham, MD, MPH
ASGE is continuing its tradition of offering a comprehensive review of endoscopic technique and clinical management for fellows in their first year of a US-based GI fellowship. Upper and lower endoscopy, and case-based endoscopic intervention form the basis of the curriculum. Foreign body management, diagnostic upper endoscopy, and advanced techniques will also be addressed.
The program offers a unique hands-on training session using ex-vivo animal models at the ASGE's Institute for Training and Technology (IT&T). The course begins on Saturday morning with didactic sessions, and hands-on or interactive video sessions follow in the afternoon. A fellows/faculty networking reception completes day one. On Sunday, the hands-on or interactive video sessions continue until mid-day.
Business casual attire is appropriate for all functions.
